NOMINATION PAPERS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON MARCH 2, 2018 AT THE TOWN OFFICE DURING OFFICE HOURS.

1-Selectman, Assessor and Overseer of the Poor – 1 – 3yr term

2-RSU #12 Board members -1 -1,2,3 yr terms

3-Planning Board members -3-3yr, 2-2yr, 2-1yr terms

4-Board of Appeals -2-3yr, 1-2yr, 2-1yr terms

5-Budget Committee -1 -1,2,3 yr. terms.

6-Board of Assessment Review -1-3yr, 2-2yr, 2-1yr. terms.

Tax Payments

May be made in two payments on two separate due dates

The 1st payment was due October 11, 2017

The second payment is due April 11, 2018

Credit cards are accepted an additional 2.5% fee will be charged.

There is a need for residents to be appointed to the following Boards and Committees:

Budget Committee, Planning Board, Board of Assessment Review, Cemetery Committee and Road Advisory Committee

Have a property assessment question?

Shirley Bartlett, Chelsea’s Assessors Agent, will be available to meet with residents to discuss Real and Personal Property Tax issues. Hours for the public will be 9:00AM to 3:30PM every other Thursday. Residents are encouraged to call first to schedule an appointment and avoid waiting.

Office hours are scheduled for the following days and other days by prior arrangement:

2018 Assessor Office Hours – 9AM to 3:30PM – Subject to change

February 22, March 8 and 22, April 5 and 19

911 Address Signs

The Chelsea Fire Department has 911 Address Signs available for sale.  The cost is $15.00 and will be delivered to you once completed.  Please forward the attached form to the Town Office.
