Draft Site Plan Review Ordinance

The Planning Board has a workshop to discuss the Site Plan Review Ordinance on April 23, 2018 at 6PM at the Town Office. Review the ordinance and provide the Planning Board with your input.


2018 -19 Proposed Municipal Budget

The Board of Selectmen will be reviewing and making final recommendations on spending levels at their meeting April 25, 2018 at 6:30PM at the Town Office.

Street Sweeping Notice

Town wide street sweeping is scheduled to commence April 30, 2018

Residents are encouraged to have the sand from their lawns and driveways swept to the edge of the payment before April 30, 2018


Cemetery Clean Up Notice

The final clean up and disposal of fall and winter flower and other arrangements is scheduled for May 7, 2018

Arrangement for Memorial Day should be placed after May 12, 2018


Tax Payments Over Due

The second half tax payment was due April 11, 2018. Interest is 7%

Credit cards are accepted an additional 2.5% fee will be charged

Have a property assessment question?

Shirley Bartlett, Chelsea’s Assessors Agent, will be available to meet with residents to discuss Real and Personal Property Tax issues. Hours for the public will be 9:00AM to 3:30PM every other Thursday. Residents are encouraged to call first to schedule an appointment and avoid waiting.

Office hours are scheduled for the following days and other days by prior arrangement:

911 Address Signs

The Chelsea Fire Department has 911 Address Signs available for sale.  The cost is $15.00 and will be delivered to you once completed.  Please forward the attached form to the Town Office.
