REQUEST FOR BIDS
Chelsea is requesting that interested contractors submit bids to maintain and mow the cemeteries and grounds in Chelsea. Bid will be for season beginning May 2020 and ending November 2020
Bid should be placed in a sealed envelope marked, “Chelsea Grounds 2020” on the outside of the envelope. Bids are due at the Chelsea Town Office 560 Togus Road on or before 2PM Tuesday September 17, 2019. Bids will be opened at that time. Bid RFP specifications are available at the Chelsea Town Office and at chelseamaine.org. The Towns reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Notice of Invitation to Bid – Grading of Gravel Roads
Bids must be completed and returned by mail or in person to the Chelsea Town Office 560 Togus Road, Chelsea ME 04330 by 2:00p.m. Thursday September 19, 2019. Bids received after that time will not be considered. The bidder should also include with their bid a copy of the grader’s registration, the qualifications of the grader operator and proof of General Liability Insurance in the amount of $ 500,000, Proof of Workers Comp Insurance and a list of all the variations from specifications. Bids will be accepted on a project basis only and will be valid for 30 days. The Towns reserve the right to waive all formalities and to reject any and all bids.
