Until further notice, the Warden’s Report website is not able to issue free online burning permits to residents. Residents requiring a permit must go the Maine Forest Service website and pay $7 or on Saturday mornings from 8:30AM to 10AM going to the 21 Hallowell Road Fire Station for a permit.
Town Report is now available:
The 2017 Town Report for the Town of Chelsea is available for residents to pick up at the Town Office and various local Chelsea businesses. The report contains the Warrant for the June 13 Election and June 15 Annual Meeting

Economic Development and Growth in Chelsea
The Economic Development Committee, with the assistance of KVCOG, has recently finished writing a Strategic Economic Development Plan. The implementation of the plan should be underway shortly.
2016 Chelsea Financial Audit
This past September the audit of Chelsea’s finances was completed by the firm RHR Smith. The audit provides the summary and detail of Chelsea’s financial condition.

Chelsea supports the United Methodist Church of Randolph’s efforts to provide quality inexpensive clothing to Chelsea residents. Chelsea residents are encouraged to bring clothing to the Clothes Closet or to get clothing from the Clothes Closet. A voucher from the Chelsea Town Office is required prior to going.
